Download and install Adobe Photoshop CS4 from the download link at the top of this page. When you open this file, follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. In addition to new tools, Photoshop 2020 is also integrated with the newest versions of Adobe Creative Cloud (2019) software. You can take advantage of the enhanced retouching and color correction tools. It would have been nice if I could use some of the new tools in the latest release of Photoshop. But then again, no program is perfect. Everytime I have gotten my hands on Photoshop 2020 before my review is published, I conclude that it’s just another step in the right direction for a program that clearly has the most features and the most use, in my opinion.

I didn’t say that PSE had to (or should) disappear. I merely said that the competition is strong now that Photoshop no longer requires a huge disk space and RAM footprint. I had read a lot about the new Photoshop 2023 update, and was anxious to see how it would finally be available to the public. Now that I have, my first thought is, “Just when you thought they couldn’t do anything more!” But what an amazing accomplishment it is to deliver such large updates in the span of less than a year! Photoshop 2023, which includes a host of Photoshop CS2-like features, is quite possibly the best update Photoshop has ever received. This tool enables you to:

The Burn tool removes specific areas of color from your images, making the color in the areas that are removed appear black and white. The tool can be used with a variety of different masking techniques, such as a soft selection or an exact selection.

The Sponge tool has a few different options, allowing you to add or remove colors based on where or on what color(s) you choose. With the Sponge tool, you can find areas of similar color and then remove them to reveal other colors.

What It Does: Wet and Dry Pixel brushes change the color or lightness of individual pixel areas. You can change areas of your image by painting with the Brush tool or use pixel brushes designed to do specific things, like add a filter, texture, or pattern.

You can create a mask that creates a selection of pixels with one color and leave pixels that are not that color alone. The Clone Stamp tool can be used to remove the selected color from the image and distribute the color around the edges where the selection existed. It can be used to edit large areas of your image, like an entire background.

What It Does: The Blur tool is a powerful tool that lets you blur specific areas of your artwork, creating softer edges. The Gaussian Blur tool will apply a uniform color and blur to a specific area.

What It Does: The Smudge tool can be used to make selected pixels appear like they blur more or to make selected areas of your artwork fade or flow together. The Eraser tool is helpful for removing textures, patterns, or other elements from your image.
