When Gordon Freeman once again participates in the experiments with the death-bringer Xen in the Black Mesa facility, he quickly loses his memory. Half-Life: Blue Shift remains faithful to the original game story, but also offers the player new puzzles and discoveries. Meanwhile, Freeman is stalked by the UAC and, unable to withstand the alien forces, he escapes the facility and tries to find an old ally to help him — Barney. The journey takes place on a wheeled vehicle.Soon the depot where Gordon is found site is raided by Zerats, and the survivors are left with two possible solutions: to stay and fight off the alien forces, or to run away.They can make a carefully chosen escape route somewhere or just run away.
